It was not long before I also realized that this gift of finding hearts was shared with my 4 year old daughter. One afternoon Summer came running up to me with a heart shaped rock she found on a beach we were visiting. “Mommy” she said excitedly “This is our family rock….it means LOVE!”
That weekend while camping, Summer pointed out other heart shapes…the most unique one being a rock embedded in the path directly in front of our camp site. The owners of the campground had not put it there, nature had and it seemed to us it wanted to be noticed. We were both very excited about this heart seeking adventure. We held hands looking to the trees, clouds and shadows to find our hearts.
As we traveled it evolved into a hobby – our own little heart-ological study if you will. Whenever we travel, we see them. Sometimes they are obvious and sometimes they magically find us in the most unusual of places. It reminds of us how special love is and of the bond we share with each other and with the world around us.
I posted this note on my personal Facebook back in March 2012 and since that time, many of my friends have shared heart sightings with me. It has been inspirational!
I have decided to share this with you on girlwiththecurl ART BLOG because I wish you all happiness and love. A peaceful heart and many sightings …….. Namaste ~ Tara ♥
